Beans My wife makes a Firehouse Baked Bean recipe I'd kick the family dog for. So, she kinda encourages "bad" behavior. It's all good. (I wouldn't really kick the family dog, I'm just sayin'...)

Sounds like you've got a keeper. I'm kinda partial to beans myself. Way back in the '70s, Time-Life Books had a series out called "The Old West", of which my dad bought the whole series. One of the books had a recipe called "Cowboy Beans". My dad made up a pot of those beans according to that recipe. Probably the best danged beans I've ever eaten. Wish I could find that recipe again........

Build one at a time? Hah! That'll be the day!!
you guys are crack'n me UP ...............
Mine isn't all that interesting-
My middle name is Robert (but I'm a junior so my dad went by Mike, and I went by Rob so we knew which one of us was in trouble).
My last name is Groothousen and my callsign is "Groot."
And I graduated from college in 2004 (it was also my jersey number when I played hockey in high school). That has been my screen name for many forums and has also become my email address. So, it's easy to remember!

Who knows when they'll actually be finished.....
I got my screen name from a combination of nicknames. Because of my last name, most people call me "Duke". However, I had a boss once who noticed my initials spelled out M.A.D. So he started calling me MADdog, especially since he used to describe me as "working like a mad dog". Many of my fellow modelers who know me well continue to say that I 'model like a mad dog'.
So I just combined the two names: Duke Maddog, and I use it on almost all my Forums I post to. My avatar was made for me by my wife: she took a pic of a mad-looking puppy; added a crown, cape and sword to make him look like royalty and sized him three different sizes for the various Forums I visit. That's the story behind my name and avatar.
Mark, you build like a madman... a maddog knows when to sleep ;-)
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

My screen name is from my days in the Army. Silent Bob was my nickname when I was stationed in Germany because I was a bit shy and didn't talk much when I first arrived. The "33" comes from my MOS of 33W. Not too much of an exciting story.

Kinda had a brainfart(no relation to or from beans lol), it was the first thing that came to mind, been thinking about changing it to threadkiller cause it seems when I post the thread dies. Hope that don't happen here, however my avatar is my alternate food source in the event of a zombie apocolips. Naa just kidding my wife would kill me if I ate the cats but.......

Mine has a couple different parts and meanings. "Mountaineer" is two-fold, in honor of both my home and my alma mater, from which I graduated in 2012.

You're keeping us in suspense here, Mountaineer!! Where is home, and what's your alma mater? Some of us old military types ain't too up-to-speed on geography anymore..........
Haha. Well, there are two Mountaineers that I am aware of, West Virginia and Appalachian State. Come football season, I bleed Gold and Blue...even if we've been a little lackluster the last couple seasons (ok, we were just awful, but I'm betting on a better season this year). Let's Go!
