Even way up here, in Michigan...you have more snow than we've had this season.

Heck, we're sittin at 50F right now...and rain.Tongue Tied It's January, for cryin out loud...this aint right!

It has snowed quite a few times, and I have spent 8-9 nights at the airport, cleaning the runway and taxiways...but it's only been "dustings" (less than 1 inch).

The rotating broom on the front, is 16' long/wide...8 passes on the runway. Taxiways take 4 passes, plus the connectors and ramps...an evening of clearing snow consists of about 20 miles of travel...at a max of 5 mph. It's been a few years since I've had to rev up the blower on back (4'X 8').

What part of Michigan?  Copper Country?  Marquette or Munising?  I went to school in the Copper Country.  When I went back up there for grad study we got about 300 inches one year.

Livingston County, just north of Ann Arbor. Far enough from the lake, that we just get the "tailings" of the lake effect snow. We had a couple seasons with great snow, several years back...but only once, in 15 years here, have we actually had 2' on the ground. Seems to be snow...melt...snow...melt...etc., most years. Lame. We're at 45F right now...this just aint right! Calling for a high of 24F tomorrow...that's more like it!
