This social distancing has hit me harder than I thought. I found myself counting Stanchions in " N " scale yesterday. Yup, I thought there were five hundred. There Were!! Guess what? The Spares box netted me Seventy Eight 1/435 life boats! And then there was the Ladder box, Sectioned off into 1/96-1/72-1/350-1/435-etc. Got eighty of each. These were of course Marine Stairs ( More commonly called "Ladders" aboard ship!
Regular verticular ladders were in their own box. Twenty of each. Oh! Oil loading ports for 1/350-Sixty ! Now this is the crux of my message. Can't go Hobby-Shopping in person? Getting tired of doing it on line? Clean up your shop and do an inventory. You might be surprised what you have . Here's a tip too. Take a vacuum that has the removeable canister. Vacuum around your area. You'll find many of the parts you thought the "Carpet Monster" consumed.
After that, sit back and admire the space in which you do have to work-WARNING-WARNING! it won't be like that next week!
