He looks like the kind of guy who has piles of dusty boxes, sagging under their own weight, sitting in the garage!
I can see it - banker's boxes filled with Microscale decals purchased in the 1970s, even more boxes of Scale Modeler and Military Modeler with old tattered Squadron flyers in between, and semi-crushed boxes of 1/72 Airfix & Hasegawa planes. All with a liberal sprinkling of roach droppings and silverfish. 
Yeah, we know it because we live it!
