No. I wouldn't consider the B-52 a true tandem.

Hmmm, Harrier?

That's just a SWAG though .

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I'll accept the Bison.

MC, thanks but the Harrier has one engine. Good on you, broad knowledge there.

Bison isn't the answer I had in mind which is the Sud Vautour, but as good and probably closer to the Stratojet.

Anyone  ever built a Bison model?

MississippiV, your turn.

Never built a Bison, has there ever been one molded? It would look wild on a contest table.

Well, here I go. Name that plane:

We answered at the same time!  I'll concede it to you.  I don't have a good question at the moment anyway.

LOL!

I'm glad that I was not the "Test-Driver" in that thing, not if it was like the Ascender, which it closely resembles!

The only thing they left out was "pusher-props", like the USAF XP-55Off Topic

Sorry, carry on guys!

Actually, I googled "british ww2 pusher-prop aircraft with canard wings"  and on images saw the exact picture. (Bing is a timesaver) My question is fairly easy (Just read it in a book)

What WWII aircraft designer, while under government confinement, designed a warplane?  Name the designer and the airplane...

Thanks T-Terrific for the advice.

Who designed a plane in "prison" and what was the plane?

One was the "Colditz Escape Glider":

The glider was assembled by Goldfinch and Best and 12 assistants known as "apostles", in the lower attic above the chapel. The runway was to be constructed from tables and the glider was to be launched using a pulley system based on a falling metal bathtub full of concrete, using a gravity-assisted acceleration to 30 mph (50 km/h).
