Sponge Files??
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, December 8, 2003 5:38 PM
How many people here have used Sponge files?
And what do you think about them?

I have been using them now for a bit and I really like them, saved me buying a lot of sandpaper. They worked well for me both on wet and dry sanding.

I tend to buy bigger sheets and than cut them to a smaller size at home.
The other material I use is cloth backed sandpaper, more flexible.

I have used them and I like them. The only problem with them is you can't use them to sand something completly square. They tend to round off the plastic. They work great on a rounded area such as the wing leading edge or a round drop tank or bomb.

Try the nail files with foam backing-they work great too.
