I started when I was about 7, built like a mad-man (mad-child?) until I was about 12 and then it fell by the wayside. Like most kids, I never really built very professionally. I got back into it about a year ago - now I'm 36. I'm almost finished my first kit as an adult. Being older, I have become very compulsive about modelling technique and quality. That coupled with the fact I'm building 4 kits at the same time and have 2 kids, 5 years and 6 months old, explains the enormous time it takes me to build. Great stress relief though - hiding out in the basement with my models and a beer for a couple of hours after the kids are in bed!
