Rock Legends!

Dunno if Im old enough to remember some of your guy's Rock Legends....but I do like Bon Jovi. does that count?

Nah. I went to the concert when it came to Omaha, NE. Awesome show, by the way!

im in Fl...... Bubba Amry....I listen every work morning...No Bon Jovi though.....Mine was Led Zeppelin...Saw Plant 3 times, The Firm, Jmmy Page  on solo tour...84-87 i was a big concert goer.

So many to choose, so I will just scratch the surface:

Classic: Led Zep, Yes, Allman Bros.

Metal: Metallica, Megadeth, Glen Danzig and one of the most proffesional and upstanding dudes in the music industry Bruce Dickinson (both with Iron Maiden and him solo)

Speed Metal: Slayer

Inudstrial: KMFDM, Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Front Line Assembly

I would have to put up a rather long list, instead I'll just offer up Carlos Santana. I was never a big Santana fan but I saw him in concert at Shoreline around 1993 (with Steve Miller and John Lee Hooker) and that changed my opinion, he does a great live show. John Lee Hooker was pretty amazing too, he was this very old looking man who needed assistance getting on stage, and just sat in a chair, but he could still play and sing. He must have really been something to see in his prime.

Steve Miller was great too, but he was the one I was actually going to see, so I expected that.

Well, of course a tip of the cap to The Who, The Stones, Cream (Clapton), Hendrix, Zep, etc. But my faves are Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Rush, and I must add KISS. Became a fan after working with a local tribute band in the late '90s. Seen the original live 3 times, all in makeup. The show really is larger than life.......

Oh, and after spending 3 1/2 months on Dragon's M2 halftrack, it's finally done. Pics to come shortly.......

Having seen most rock and metal concerts of the late 80's and early 90's I have a favorite three bands that I will go to great lengths and expense to see when they tour:

AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Van Halen \m/

On the heavier side Metallica's first four Lp's are each classic ground breaking metal which each and every song kicks$1***$2

'Kill em' all'

'Ride the Lightning'

'Master's of Puppets'

'Justice for all'

Over all favorite: Steve Ray Vaughn. Check out 'Live at Montreux' him playing 'Texas Flood'

Metal of all sorts, everything from vintage Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple all the way to some of today's bands to a point.  Metallica, DLR-era Van Halen, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, UFO, Rush, even obscurites such as Hawaii (Marty Friedman's first band) and Picture (a 1980's Dutch heavy metal band whose records were never released in the US). 

Now lets not forget Rush, Scorpions, Anthrax. and a litle pop metal from say  Ratt and Poison.
