Usually build:

  • aircraft 1/72, 1/48
  • occasional cars in 1/24? - gifts for others, never keep those ones.

Have built:

  • a single 1/72 chopper (are helicopters separate from a/c?) last year
  • a single Star Wars model 10(?) years ago
  • 1 battleship, 1 cruiser, 2 aircraft carriers and a Viking ship, at least 15-20 years ago, all heavy on glue & light on paint iirc! Big Smile

in the stash:

  • a 1/35 Jagdpanther, Kettenkrad and figures that I have diorama planned for... but little room to display it.
  • Several more recent Star Wars kits and a Gundam suit of some kind

On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister

I am primarily an aircraft modeller, most of my builds and stash are aircraft. However I do build other stuff, like sci fi (star wars, star trek), armor and Games Workshop figures. And last yeay I have even build my first car, an Heller 1/43 F-1 car.

I build mostly aircraft...slowly

But in my stash I have

Aircraft in 1/24, 1/32, 1/35, 1/48, 1/72, 1/144

Armor in 1/35, 1/48, 1/72

A couple of autos in 1/whatever scale they are

Some 1/35 figures

An ape-man bust that my daughter insisted I buy for her

And a ship that I couldn't pass up (on sale)

I will probably never get to them all but I am trying.

I do primarily  SHIPS in1/350  with the odd 1/700 and 1/87 thrown in .

The ARMOR can be counted on two hands ,mostly interesting liteskins and my " DICKER MAX "

The AIRCRAFT is mainly planes I grew up with except B-25 aircraft. In my heyday I owned one that flew. The family loved taking trips in it. AH, to be younger again!

CARS and TRUCKS are pretty much the same. Those I,ve owned holding first place.

SCI-FI is very limited , only that I,ve again ,grown up with. Think PEGASUS "WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE the full ship and the P.E. of one under construction.

I don,t do figures.I do know the six step process talked about though.I like the LADIES , but ,my landlady doesn,t and she,s like family ,so I don,t

I wish I had time for more.I do train scaled ships-1/87 and 1/160 (HOand N scale)from scratch,mostly TANKERS.
