Lol the mods combined the two topics so they look kind of jumbled now.

Yea Uecker sure puts a spin on the game. I wish he would call the Packer games. When my son was in the Marines he was stationed in Okanowa and Cherry Point, NC. He couldn't wait to get back to Wisconsin winters. I don't know if the Marines screwed him up or if he was dropped on his head when he was a baby. He just loves winter.
I listen to 70’s music or talk radio. I wish I could get more Reds games on the radio but living in Wisconsin that’s all you get is the Millwaukee Booowers. Oops! I mean Brewers.
Yup I live in So. Cal and I was looking in to going back to Mequon, Germantown, or West Allis.....then I remembered the winter and decided to stay put ^^
I grew up in the Milwaukee area. I pay for the MLB Gameday Audio just so I can listen to Uecker calling the Brewer games. In 96 I moved to southern Missouri, and have since lived in Arizona, Texas, Nevada, and now Florida. The only thing keeping me from moving back home is the winters.

Ahh up there ok. I used to live in Cedarburg (down by Mequon) about 3 years ago for about 6mo then I ran back to L.A. when winter hit LMAO
Daddydan I can only work on a model at night after everyone has gone to bed so I listen to Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM radio. I like listening to wierd and wacky subjects when I'm huddled over my desk.

Me too!!!
However, by that time of day I'm to tired to get much done.
troublemaker66I usually have a TV on the Military channel and listen to the shows. I'm a bass player in a rock cover band so modeling is my break from music..it's tv or silence..lol.
....('cept I play 6 string and original metal!)
I rarely put music on....usually "Pandora radio"....mostly power metal....Helloween, Gamma Ray, Megadeth, etc. If I put in a disc, it's Jim Croce, Simon & Garfunkel, or Neil Diamond!
I live in Menasha. Right under the flight path of jets landing at ATW (Outigamie Airport).
Don't be dissin' my Brewers Just messin with ya, where in WI are you?

LOL I was browsing Youtube and I found this Slavic folk metal band called Holy Blood and another from Ukraine called Oskord and that seems to be all I can listen to for the past 2 days. If you like stuff along the lines of Eluveitie you'll love it.
In a slightly different vein, yesterday I had to work because of music- I had to cover the Mumford & Sons concert in my hometown. I hadn't heard of them before, but they were pretty good.
When at the workbench, I'll listen to DJ Shadow, the Clash, classical and opera or even talk radio. Coast to Coast or old Art Bell shows are my favorite just because of the odd stuff they discuss.
Motorhead, Metallica, Mastodon, Manowar, Witchcraft, CCR, Chuck Ragan, Fleetwood Mac, DK, Sex Pistols, blah its go on
About 70% is Bach or other classical music. Also metal such as Slayer, Burzum, Bathory, and Heidevolk. Jeff Buckley or Sad Kermit sometimes.
Lucky me!!! I don't need to listen to any of music...

I would have sports on, but being a Mets / Jets / Islander fan, I would put the hobby knife to uses it was not intended for.
Otherwise, I go with silence.
On the bench: Tamyia Mosquito Mk. VI for the '44 group build. Yes, still.

bondoman I need silence. Funny because I like music, but when I'm at work or at the bench, nuttin.

Same here.
"Whaddya mean 'Who's flying the plane?!' Nobody's flying the plane!"
Crank up CCR, Led Zeppelin, Badfinger and some mellow Byrds.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
mississippivol Old Ordie Baseball games for me lately. It seems like evenings is when I get to the bench, right during EST baseball hours. I'm a Reds fan, naturally. (I'm in a band also, Len. I know what you mean ...) Hey Ordie, those Reds need to lose a few games so my Cards can catch up! Your guys are playing some great baseball. Glenn

LOL! Usually all we can see this time of year are Cardinal tail feathers! It could be our turn this year, though. Not much offense, but oh my, the pitching has been off-the-chart this season - the top of the chart, that is .
Flight deck: Hasegawa 1:48 P-40E; Tamiya 1:48 A6M2 N Type 2 ('Rufe')
Elevators: Airfix 1:72 Grumman Duck; AM 1:72 F-4J
Classic Rock, Police Scanner, Shortwave Broadcasts, Podcasts, and Old Time Radio Shows.
When in the basement shop, silence is deafening for me but my mind wanders when talk - TV or radio - is on. My daughter bought me an XM radio for Christmas several years ago and I rigged an antenna by a south facing window and I have either (1 Classical, (2 Escape, (3 Watercolors or (4 Spa playing. It's pleasant background 'noise' for me -- I can hear but don't have to listen (if that makes sense).
