Some of the most fun I've had in my years of building were gotten from my wife as a gift. Happy birthday. Still need our NHL though.....

My birthday haul.

It was my birthday on Fri, one year older and yet still no wiser. For the first time my other half got me some model kits. She wanted to get somthing that was not my norm. So in other words, not WW2 German. She had told me a few months ago and i said i would build what ever she got, the only no no was a galleon ship kit.

Well, this is what she got.

She got the Warrior because i used to drive them. She thought it would be as big as my normal armour kits, 1/35th. And she was a bit upset when she realised how small it was. But i reasured her it was fine and i have some soldiers that will go with it nicely. She hadn't seen me build a ship, and liked the look of the  Victorious. And she likes the look of the WW1 aircraft so she got the 0/400. I don't think she realised how much was involved in the rigging, but will be a nice change. But any advice will be nice.

I am looking forward to building these as i can relax a bit when i do.

And today i used the money i got to get this.

Well, i got to have some normality. And as a bonus, it was £20 less than the price on the box.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
