A pair of Italeri C-130s in 1/48th scale. The Heller Victory in 1/100th comes close. I should mention the Victory was purchased from Model Expo as a close-out item for less than the full-blown retail I paid for one of the C-130s on a binge buy.

Mine right now is the 1/48 academy f4b phantom 2 Because I also got the photo etch sets that eduard just came out for it.
I also likem cheap, most of my stash comes from model swap meets.. The most expensive has to be the Revival metal bodied Mercedes 163 prewar Grand Prix kit I got as an anniversary gift, about $120. I like smaller scale kits so none of them are particularly big, maybe my vacuform 1/72 TU 22.
Biggest would be the Revell B-1B as well. Most expensive would probably be the Trumpeter F/A-18E. But it came with default VFA-143 decals, so I see that as a win/win considering I transitioned them into that scheme. :)
I have a few other big kits in the stash like the 1:58 C-130J , and a couple of Monograms vintage bomber kits. Those have always been nice big kits.
I'll play...
Most expensive: Fine Molds 1/72 Millennium Falcon
Biggest: Polar lights 1/350 USS Enterprise Refit
Funny thing is that I don't do that much Sci fi. I mostly build 1/48 modern jets.

Biggest in my stash?...Well its not in my "stash" any longer, I built it but now don't know what to do with it, short of hanging from my hobby room ceiling which I'm not a big fan of.. Revell Monogram 1/48 Boeing B-29 "Humpin Honey" . Ha, you can check it out in all it's glory in this forum, just search "Revell Boeing B-29" to view pictures. Most expensive...so far, gotta be my Academy 1/400 Premium Edition Titanic, ($225) what a super cool kit! Photo-etch, wooden decks and correct bow anchor tub to name a few.
Ok, my turn...
My biggest is Tamiya's 1/350 USS Missouri and my most expensive is also a Tamiya...a Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IXc in 1/32 with some goodies from Barracuda to go with it! The Spitfire is currently on the bench awaiting its first dabs of glue!
Mine? Most expensive is the Finemolds 1/72 Millenium Falcon. Biggest? Dragon's 1/72 Saturn V Rocket.
My most expensive is definitely the new tool Yamato. Although I did drop a lot on aftermarket goodies for my Trumpy f-14b. My biggest is either my 1/200 Arizona or 1/350 Nimitz both by trumpy.
Mine would be the Revell 1/72 scale USS Gato fleet submarine.
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
I'll play.....biggest is probably the 1/72 Gato....I've also got a 1/16 Wright Flyer that should be pretty large when done. Most expensive is a MFH 1/20 Gurney Eagle T-1G
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
My biggest and most expensive kit at the same time is HK's B-17G in 1/32. That thing is huge!
My biggest is a toss up between my 1/48 Monogram B-58's (2 of them) and the AMT KC135. The most expensive is probably the Hobby boss F3H Demon 1/48 or the Hobby boss TBM 1/48

1/144 AC-130, 1/72 AV-8A Harrier
Tamiya's 1/350 USS Enterprise (CVN-65). It was also one the first models I built since coming back to the hobby about 13 years ago. I look at it now and see all kinds of errors. I hope to redo it again in the semi-near future. lol.
Duct tape is like the force. It has a dark side & light side and it holds the universe together.
I'll toss in my lot. The most expensive kit is the Academy 1/48 MH-53 Sikorsky Sea Stallion. Paid $95.00 for it when it was released. Not a helicopter enthusiast but the kit has the markings for my brothers squadron, HM 214, of which he was the commander. My biggest kit is a close one between the MH-53 and the Tamiya 1/350 HMS Prince of Wales. I'm honing my modeling skills a bit before I tackle either of these. especially the MH-53.

After utterly ruining a vintage 1/25 AMT AMX Javelin kit with an un-fixable painting disaster, it's now the 1:35 Trumpeter Geschutzwagen Tiger fur 17cm Kanone 72(Sf). Quite a huge armor kit.
Biggest is the Heller Victory. The hull is pretty much done, but the addition of the bowsprit and masts will make her at least 1 meter long by 1 high.
Theist expensive is a Combrig 1/350 Scharnhorst (WW1) that I'm in for $ 250 for the basic resin kit and have not started sourcing out details for yet. Plenty of PE in the future.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Pikers. DeAgostini "Sovereign of the Seas", about 1100mm long x 900mm high, it retails over a grand. Parts work kit, I only have about half of it so far, and what I have weighs about 10 pounds.

Hellers "Le Soleil Royal". I've been working on it for almost a year, little at a time about 60% done. $300 new?
Largest and most expensive is my Trumpeter 1/16 King Tiger.

I could pay for whatever kit I want, but it's the principle of the thing.
Therefore, I keep my cutoff right around $65-$70.
The only exception I made was for the International Space Station, which was a tic more expensive.
One of the most fun builds I've ever had. I truly enjoyed my time at the bench with that one.
Oh, in addition to it being the most expensive one I own, it's also the biggest. So big, in fact, that if I decide to take it out of my fort, I will have to do some disassembling.
Well I think my most expensive at the moment is my Trumpeter 1/32 MIG-23MLD with my Dragon 1/32 ME110D right behind it, still sitting in the stash for aabout a year now.
Biggest is the Rev/Mon 1/48 B-29 Superfort. Most expesive is an MPM 1/48 HE-177.
My biggest is the Revell 1/48 B1-B that I built in the "Swing Wing" GB a while ago.
Most expensive is the Tamiya 1/12 Ferrari Enzo. Hell of a kit though...
Don
In my stash Revelle 1/24 Huey Gun Ship rest is 1/48 and 1/35. ACESES5 ON BENCH DRAGON STUG 3 AUSF B.
Tamiya 1/6 scale Honda CT70 motorcycle. Biggest and most expensive :)
OK, now youre just bragging. :) That should take you as long as it took to set up the real deal. Post pics.
Matchbox 1/72 Flower Class Corvette ship. Got if for a song at an IPMS show, But I wish I had some of the P-E to take it to the next level. Little help?
pordoi My biggest is the Revell 1/48 B1-B that I built in the "Swing Wing" GB a while ago. Most expensive is the Tamiya 1/12 Ferrari Enzo. Hell of a kit though... Don
