All of those 1/72 scale Revell kits are actual Revell kits. Their Matchbox re-boxes were in combo packs with vinyl soldiers (magically as 1/72 scale and not the actual 1/76 scale) and the later ones were clearly labeled as 1/76 scale when sold individuality.

Earlier in the line, Revell did sneak three old Hasegawa kits into their budding 1/72 scale armor line to make the line appear larger. They have also re-boxed the old Esci M48A2/A2C/A2GA2/A3 kits into their own packaging and includes all of those variants into one box that Esci originally sold separately.

A few of Revell's original 1/72 scale kits are/were rather lame like the StuG IV and M4A1 Sherman.
