Now I don't feel so bad.  I have three shelves above my workbench to store wip projects, and I have somewhere between 16 and 18 there, without actually going through all the boxes, and two large in-progress ships on another set of shelves, for a total of 18 to 20.

I've probably got at least that many started kits. The oldest one I have is a Tamiya Bradley M2 IFV I started in college (1986-87 was my final year). It went to my parents' home after college and I didn't take it with me when I went onto active duty in the Army. When I was stationed within a close driving distance to home and knew my parents were downsizing, I took all my model stuff from my old bedroom. This was probably 2003-04.

It's still partially built in my basement.

Hi , Ya'll!

You know I've never really given that much thought .When I did though I was astounded .  I have some I started years ago , and got to a certain point and just stopped .

I don't think it was a case of delayed procrastination though . For instance , I have REVELL'S Hermann Marwede . A small kit , yes , I was cleaning the deck to hull joint and got called away from the bench . She still sits unfinished . Ad Infinitum .

The total is about 35 unfinished kits . They range from planes to cars ,  ships  boats and railroad models to the more esoteric scratch stuff I do . Plus about half of my scratch built Tankers and service craft .

I guess i will have get off my duff and finish them .  T.B.       P.S. With so much intereference sometimes , it's a wonder anything gets built .
