I used to show it to my students when they would start using their pencils like small swords. One year I was saying what the danger of "pencil fighting was, showed my hand and the dark spot had disappeared!! It only took thirty years for the graphite to dissolve. J. I have permament putty paw prints all over my room when putty dumped over a bottle of paint that didn't have the cap on tight. I swear he danced in it awhile before taking the grand tour of the house. My mom went nuclear when she came home to see all the cat tracks throughout the house. She left the tracks on my model shelf in my room as a reminder of that day 25 years ago.
