Francois Verlinden is a modeler who created his own products based upon his own input. I'm sure that many others started out with an idea in their head, "gee I'd like to have ____ for my work..."

are you telling folks here how to create their own bending tool, or are you showing off an item you created with plans to sell them?

ugamodels

But if they don't exist yet on the market  (as in for sale) then I think you can make the argument he isn't promoting a product. I for one am happy to see unique products under development here. How else will we get a chance to influence the design?

the difference between me and the producer is such that I'm modeller.
Builds different models, and based on the experience of building a bender. I make changes, listen to other modelers and so my products are created.

If you want to add something unique, add the ability to do round bends on the same tool. You could make the long straight side wider, and add channels with included dowels. Also maybe some rounded "anvils" on the front.

Thank you for the advice I was just about, write it down and I will implement it in version 3.

If you REALLY want to create a useful product, create a 10X magnifier light so that I can see what I am doing with these tiny pieces! And the tweezers to go with them!

I type on a tablet. Please excuse the terseness and the autocorrect. Not to mention the erors.

Rafhart

I do not have a company, I produce them myself, I do not want to sell them from there, are shops.
It shows progress, and I look forward to the evaluation,

I am a modeler above all.

if you produce them and sell them yourself, that is a business. One individual creating and selling a product is a company. Just like a guy who makes resin or decal products on their own for other modelers.

This is how I built the model, I had PE to do it on other devices, always something not fit me, something I missed, and now I can only pretend to myself.

and here are the models that have contributed to the creation of my new bender

Hello!

Your machine sure is pretty and if you're happy with it, I'm happy for you. Then again I personally think this is an overkill - I use PE from time to time and I have no need for such a machine and all the time you spent for design and so on - I would rather invest it in building models. Thanks for sharing, though, and good luck with your projects, have a nice day

After six months of work, design and patching, I built a new bending machine, a 100% modeling project. To build faster and more comfortable.
How do you like the project?

Kind of pushing the envelope here. One of the features of this forum is not having companies use it to advertise.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Anodizing went so well, unless it was dark enough to allow long work.
