NOT Headed to Shizuoka!

Yeah you know it’s really serious when Tokyo Disneyland shuts down.  I wonder if the crisis will subside when the weather warms?

    Well hopefully YOUR healthy wealthy and in a pisition to go next year. I totally understand your disappointment. Darn bugs anyway.

Yeah, my problem is of the minor first world type - I have had to cancel trips before and gone without a vacation for several years.  Disappointing, but not world ending.

The big problem is that bug going around the world.  I pray that it can be contained quickly to minimize the toll and so that we can get back to a semblance of normal.

Darn it, the joke I made about toilet paper hoarding was actually prescient, and it spread across the US!  Have we all gone mad?  The Olympics are on hold till next year.  Waikiki and the malls are eerily empty.  How deep is this thing going to get?

Sorry, I’m just a little sad as I clicked the “cancel reservation” for all the hotels tonight, so it’s officially over.  I know, first world problems.  At least I didn’t lose a relative to the virus.  But one of my cousins passed away last month due to cancer, so there’s a lot of gloom and doom around here.  Sorry, I’m just wallowing.

On a very slightly funnier note, my friend in Japan told me there wasn’t a shortage of TP in Shizuoka because the factory is there!  I asked him to please keep the models he got for me, and send me TP instead .

  Wallow away my friend, pretty sure I will do the same,( only with expletives), if the Nat's get shut down.

   Crazy times, wonder if so much information being shoved at us has't help increase the hype. This I believe is no joke and want to take relevant precautions but MAN.
