Covering Up P.E. and Brass!

I have perusing the post about the U.S.S.Des Moines.

           Someone asked about covering all the brass with paint. I know of at least four modelers in the area encompassing Texas, Arizona, and Southern Cal. That do not paint it. Why? Well, it's their way of showing off all the brass and the work they had to do to put it all together. The old saw does apply here, "It's your Model, Build it the way you want to!"
