Need furniture figures help
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 29, 2002 3:48 AM
I am looking for a place the sells scale models of everyday residental furniture and appliances that I can use in my residential home models. Such as washing machines, fridges, couchs, toilets etc. Do you know of a place that I can order from. I am tired of having to make them myself each time. I am working in 1/2 to 12

I don't know of a specific place to point you to, for mail order, but have you thought of looking up doll houses. There is, or used to be, a place in LaGrange, IL that sold doll houses and all the little items that go with that. I don't know where you live, but maybe if you checked your yellow pages you could find something like that.

That's a great suggestion!!

You might want to take a look at the Dollhouse Miniatures website (published by Kalmbach Wink [;)] ).

Here are a couple pages of links you may also want to look through:

Many craft stores sell doll house items. JoAnn's, Michael's, and Hobby Lobby come to mind. Dollhouse hobbyists are very numerous, and there are many magazines and books on the subject. Some wide-ranging hobby retailers may also carry doll house accessories.
