I have over 200 kits in my stash; all sorts of different topics. I could never "specialize".

Model Grandpa,

From another grandpa. You're no stranger than anybody else here. For myself, I've been buying kits for 30 yrs and they're all 1/72, US Navy, Marines or Coast Guard. I get my diversity from the different eras represented, from post-WW I to current. Biplanes, props, jets, copters, fighters to multi-engine - that's diverse enough for me. I don't have the need ( or cash) to branch out farther. Many have said it - go with what you like.

If it weren't for us anomalies, this would be pretty boring, and how would we learn anything? Big Smile [:D]

Regards,
Dick

I say again your all FREEKS and I'm right there with you.Shy [8)] As I sit at my desk I have in sight aircraft, armor, autos, and even a ship.

Wink [;)]Well, you're not alone! I'm an aircraft builder at heart, however I reserve the right to built anything in whatever scale whenever I want toApprove [^]

In between aircraft of 1/72 and 1/24 scale, I'll also build armour, auto's and figures, it certainly makes things more interesting!

my modelling subjects are as diverse as my non modelling interests. i build computers, play baseball and ultiamte frisbee, bash RC cars, and build ships, planes(majority but not by much), cars, tanks, sci fi. i have yet to do a motor cycle, but im sure there is a hayabusa sitting in the LHS with my name on it in invisible ink. i find diversity is the way for me, but i think building just one subject is cool too :D:D peace out
