Hardwood floors? They would be great for modeling, unfortunately the carpet monster lives in my modeling room but I have beat him every time so far. Wink [;)]

Cats are yummy! Tongue [:P]
As for the bookshelf, I used the china hutch (no china).
And the carpet monster - I bet this place would have beautiful floors, now if i could convince the landlord to let me tear out this ratty old carpet!

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

But its not as fun if there's nothing to complain about. After all, a happy Marine is a complaining Marine. If the complaints stop, then you really have to worry.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

Modelers enemies

Well after reading several post on these beasts I thought it was kind of funny.
The 3 main monsters turned out to be>>
Cats
And the Carpet monster
bookshelfs with books and models...

Solutions to fixing these hazards
Cats = Dont have one, get a dog, they re betterTongue [:P]
Carpet monster = get a wood or tile floor
bookshelves = Your textbooks should be opend on your desks and on your floor looking for reference photos, like mine, or you could get a separte book shelf.
In the end a modeler doesnt have to have any enemies. It just depends on how they setup their models and workspace. But I still have the carpet monsterDisapprove [V]
