The "guru" of kit collecting is John W. Burns. For years he has been compiling and publishing his "Collectors Value Guide for Scale Model Plastic Kits" His address is: 3213 Hardy Drive, Edmond, OK, 73013. He also does the Kit Collectors Clearinghouse, which is a bi-monthly newsletter. See some info at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/1805/kcc.jpg . HTH.

John's email adress is <cheersjb@swbell.net> Kit Collector Clearinghouse is the center of the plastic kit collecting universe. The KCC subscription is $15 and the Value Guide-Seventh Edition is $35. John Burns puts out other kit related books as wellSmile [:)].

^BumpSmile [:)] I have been asked several times this last week about price guides so I thought it would be timely to bump this one up.

No problem, my seventh edition price guide has them listed as $10-15 USD each. Nice finds where did you come across those beauties?

Thanks, Woody.

I Found two (1 each EM3001 and EM3002) in Jean-Marc Perreault's "Spare Parts Yard" ($25 each!). I just bought an EM3002 from Mario Bartoli in Italy ($21 Euro with shipping) and another EM3001 from a fellow in Australia ($19 with shipping). My son got me my first EM3002 off EBay.

It sounds like you really like the Demon! Are you going to post any pictures of your finished birds?

Right now I'm all hat and no cattle! I have the models, but am not quite ready to tear into them. I do love the pregnant guppy. In the day it was the only fleet all weather fighter. Never fired a shot in anger. I am totally green when it comes to model making and am working on a Tamiya F4D Skyray to get my feet wet. It will be quite awhile before I share any picutures. BTW, (learn the hard way) Great Models has both EM models at discounted prices!Dunce [D)]

I was always interested in the Chance Vought F6U 'Pirate', but the Demon is a slick bird as well! When you are ready to start putting glue to styrene, remember we are here if you need any help. Wink [;)]
