Hippy-Ed are you saying the 350 is not that good ? Please dont get me worng. I am still working on my " 1st " A/B. Even tho I have these 2 old ones do not mean I used them LOL

If you think the Badger Professioal 150 Double Action would be better for m60a3 please let me know. I have np at all sending him eather of them.

Thanks

Bud

Bud, no, I wasn't knocking the 350. I was merely saying  that my HF cheapy looks identical to it. It was my first A/B & it is still in use for general coverage, primer & Future. easy to clean & use.  My 175 dual action takes some getting use to yet, either one will be a good 1st A/B for  anyone.

Send the 150. I'm biased as I own one myself. A lot of people will talk about the difficulty of dual action ABs but really they can be used just like a single action. I think of them this way. A single action is nothing more than a tap with two settings: full on and full off. A dual action allows you to turn the tap off and on too, but also allows you to adjust the flow between full on and full off. It just takes practice before you can really control that tap completely.

The 350 is a fine airbrush for one color paint jobs that don't require any finesse. I have a cheapo clone of the 350 that I use for Future.

So long folks!

many people are biased on which brush to use.Yet, many people can put out excellent work with either a S/A or D/A. Any A/B one uses varies on their skill level, thinning ratios & practice, practice practice.Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] and, an air supply. Oh, did I mention PracticeBig Smile [:D]

I believe (and hope!) that this is what is expected. I have contributed instructions and kit pieces and passed on old ABs myself, and all I ever ask is that the favor gets paid forward, not back.

So long folks!

there are a/b collectors out there?

now that is one crazy thing to collect

Not really, I'm up to 4 now myself Smile [:)]

Dave do you use them all or do you really collect them and dispaly them on a shelf ? Confused [%-)] Question [?] do they actually have collectors value

Yes they do sit on a shelf and yes I do use them all.  The value of an object is very subjective and can be represented by any number of elements other than monetary ones. Besides, I think they're neat! Big Smile [:D]

You know Bud, I had to pick on ya a bitMischief [:-,] since nobody else wasWink [;)]

Having been on the receiving end of an A/B offer, I can only speak for myself. But, I do feel that what you did Bud is a good thing. I am quite happy to be a part of "this family" as there are so many people here who are helpful to fellow modelers.

All I can say is "wow". The people I have met on this forum are the best. God bless you all. What is it about this forum? Is there a hidden "good guy" magnet in it somewhere?
Thank you all for your generosity. Wing_nut and Dubau, ya'll are great. And so are the rest of you. And I think I get the point ya'll mentioned before about practice. I guess I'll be practicing alot. Thanks again, to everybody.
