I left the island back in 03, but there were two shops just outside the fence of Camp Foster.  One was okay, had toys and other stuff mixed in with the kits, the other was a little slice of modelling heaven.  Floor to rafters with all types of kits: ships, planes, tanks, gundam, cars...

I don't know the name of it, but it was on the street that ran down the south side of Camp Foster.  I hope it's still there. The other one was on the same street, closer to the base of the hill.

A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

You are close enough to order from Hobby Link Japan (www.hlj.com). Great online retailer.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am wondering if I am the only one here on the interesting Island of Okinawa?!

Ive been here since september, and have not found one single model hobby store, and it is killing me.
