I've always believed the Bermuda Triangle was a mobile phenomenon, finding its way into dryers, onto hobby tables, into tool boxes, piles of spare change....

Frighteningly, it has a fondness for knives around me. It seems regardless of if I'm at work or at my hobby table at home, I can't turn my back on a knife for more than a minute or two and it'll have disappeared. They always show up again and I've had the good fortune of never having found one with an errant hand or foot, my eyes always see it before it can bite me.

Could this dimension be parallel to the missing sock dimension? You know, the one with the entrance somewhere inside your dryer?

Yep. We got them in Massachusetts, too. Those illegitimate little gremlins seem to be able to read your mind. They KNOW just when to sieze the part from your world, and scurry off with it in tow. They watch, from the darkness, as you construct a replacement with great care and effort. And just when the new part is sealed away in some unaccessable area, they decide to return it. My cat doesn't earn his food, as he has been unable to corner the little rascal. Maybe some day . . .

I thought it was another dimension until the dog got sick. The X-ray at the vet's revealed the lost part ... stuck in her throat.
I have no idea why she decided to chow down on that one as she has never shown any signs of eating plastic before or since but there you go; and there went some hundred dollars in vet bills.

Wow glad to know Im not going crazy and seeing the effects of this other dimension. You know whats worse is when the part suddenly reappears "from the other side" With your wife screaming at you because it re-appeared right under her foot...in the same spot you spent 2 hrs looking the day before!

You've got one of those, too????!!!!!
I thought I was the only person who had one. The bits that go straight through the "wormhole" somehow return only AFTER the replacement bit has been scratchbuilt. Those jerks on the other side of the wormhole******me off............

A new dimension

Today I observed a phenomenom which I have observed before and I realized that what I was seeing was a portal to a different dimension. This portal exists somewhere between the surface of my modeling desk and the floor. The only thing which can pass through the portal are small pieces of plastic, resin or metal that are dropped towards the floor from desk height The parts pass through portal to the new dimension, most never to be seen again. Occassionaly a part will return from that dimension (usually after you have scratch built a replacement, or bought a new kit to replace that part)

Have any of you observed this portal? And what is the name of the dimension??? Approve [^]Approve [^]Approve [^]
