Here's a idea . . . Write a note asking, "Where are my kits?" and drop it frrom the workbench. Perhaps you'll get an answer from the "Other Side."

Chris,
I know exactly how you feel. I’ve got a Word document detailing all of the unbuilt kits I’ve got
and for months the list didn’t match the reality. Lots of missing kits. Bugger.
I have since found the kits in a box in the garage, where I had already looked (about 15 times).
Was I frustrated? Maybe just a little?
Well, at least they’re not lost now………
Good luck on the search and I hope you find them.
Cheers

about 90% of my kits are boxed up together and in the loft. All boxes are labelled, but access to the loft is not the easiest thing and I very recently bought two kits I already had.. Oh, well it's not tragic, but I realised it might not be a bad idea to keep a list closer to hand... LOL

I HAVE THEM!! And if you ever want to see them again, you'll provide your credit card and social security number, as well as your address, family names, and number of unborn children to an undisclosed bank in Nigeria........LOL!!
Hope you find 'em!

Like the other fella said, sometimes your other half will give them away, whatever. They figure you have so many you will never notice. It's a possibility.

If they think you'll not notice they're missing, they are obviously not modelers themselves. If Saint Anthony were a model builder, then he would truly sympathize with people who cannot find things. My brother took one of my kits thinking I would not notice and it happened to be the kit that I was going to start next. He was surprised that I asked if he had seen it and had to confess. to be honest, I may not have noticed as quickly if it was any other kit.Blush [:I] As for the other dimension? I haven't given it any full kits but I hope it puts all of the tools I have donated over the years to good use.

P.S. Forgive my ignorance, but, what does LoL or lol meanQuestion [?]Big Smile [:D]

I can solve this one. Whenever one is looking for a long lost item this is the sure fire way to find it.

As you search there is always a place, be it drawer, cabinet, box, whatever, where you say to yourself, "Nah... I know it's not in there." That is where it is.

Works every time for me.

Found 2...today. Only 23 more to go and if memory serves me correctly those 23 are in a box somewhere!

This may sound really stupid, but when you find it, it's always in the last place you look.............oh duh.
Then why didn't you look there first..........?

Of course it's going to be in the last pace you look. It would be pretty silly to keep looking after you have found it.
