Tsukuda Hobby’s 1/9 scale vinyl ABC War Robot from the
1995 movie “Judge Dredd” got a World War II German-inspired paint scheme, says
Leo, who sprayed three-color camo in Humbrol enamels over a Marine green base
coat. He overpainted a sprinkling of salt, then rubbed off the salt to reveal
undercoats for a distressed effect. “I had better luck with kosher salt,” he
says.
