Andrew Bloom
Haughton, Louisiana

Calling his 1/35 scale scene “Sollum Höhe 208” (Sollum Height 208), Andrew surrounded a Tamiya 88mm FlaK 36 with Tamiya and AFV Club ammunition and figures from Tamiya’s North African Campaign set. The radio operator came from another Tamiya kit. Many of the provisions are from Verlinden, while a dog from Custom Dioramics stands next to a SdKfz 7 Zugkraftwagen 8t built from a Dragon Smart Kit. Archer dry transfers provided helmet insignia, uniform patches, DAK palm trees, tactical symbols, and instrument panels. Tamiya sandbags top a wall Peter made from baked plaster of Paris, broken into pieces and stacked.
