Bill Carlo
Crossville, Tennessee

A 1945 picture from Berlin inspired Bill to build a Henschel turret emplacement. He used a 1/35 scale turret from a Nichimo kit, painted with Model Master enamels, and used water-color washes and powdered pastels for the finish. The concrete slab is Styrofoam covered with spackle; Bill landscaped with Woodland Scenics coarse turf and sifted kitty litter for scale rocks.
