Century Toys radio-controlled Panzer IV got a vigorous reworking from Federico,
who filled all the screw holes, removed side skirts, and repainted the tank for
the Afrika Korps. “I mixed my own DAK armor yellow and lightly airbrushed,
letting some of the panzer gray beneath it show through,” he says. He
hand-brushed selected areas with different shades to suggest sun bleaching and
wear. The machine gun and most of the stowage is scratchbuilt. The base is
crushed building block held in place by marine epoxy and airbrushed with
various shades of desert tan highlighted with bone white.
