Mikael says he used three or four Williams Bros. 1/32 scale
P-35s for this scene from the Philippines sometime in 1940-41. “The Swedish air
force ordered 120 Seversky/Republic EP-1 Model 6s,” he says, “but only 60 were
delivered in 1940. The other 60 were taken by the U.S. Army Air Corps, of which
many were shipped to the Philippines. So, these planes had the Swedish insignia
in the beginning,” he says.
