“I was an aviation ordnance mechanic
for the AV-8B Harrier from 1997-2001,” Justin writes “I was stationed with VMA-513
in Yuma, Ariz.” After returning to scale modeling in 2008, Justin picked up the
old 1/48 scale Monogram Harrier at a garage sale and added scratchbuilt parts
to the cockpit. “I enjoy this hobby, as there are no deadlines, budgets, or
compromises to the quality of the finished product,” he says.
