Jorge Arturo Segura Hernandez
Mexico City, Mexico

Jorge depicted a 1/35 scale U.S. Marines search-and-destroy mission in Iraq on a display base made from dental plaster and layers of sheet styrene. The civilian and the Marine at the door are Verlinden figures, the latter modified, and the crouching figure is scratchbuilt. Other materials include brass sheet and copper wire pulled from a computer. Jorge finished with Humbrol enamels, artist’s oils, and powdered pigments and pastels.
