“I normally don’t like special paint schemes or 1/72 scale, but this was quite a nice kit,” Dean says of Hasegawa’s 1/72 scale Mi-24 “Hind D”. “I scratchbuilt the interior, as there was nothing there.” He says he achieved this flamboyant scheme with Revell enamels “and about 10 coats of Klear floor polish” — what we call Pledge Future here in the States — “which is what I used to get the decals to settle down.”
