“This is an MPC snap-together B-wing Fighter from days of old,” Andrew says. He guesses the scale might be about 1/94; it wasn’t printed on the box. He made up the color scheme and airbrushed it with Testors paints. “I did the checkerboard pattern on the gun pods and rear portion of the cockpit to add character,” he says. “Had it been my B-wing, I would have ditched the typical painting and gone with something a little bit more vibrant — since my next battle would probably be my last. Liquid shoe polish, spread on generously and immediately buffed off, gave the model a nice to-hell-and-back appearance.”
