“I call it ‘Dead in the Water,’ somewhere in the English Channel in fall 1944,” Timothy says. He built his 1/35 scale waterama with Monogram’s Amphibious Weasel and Tamiya figures. He made his own tarps, rolls, weapon slings, and helmet straps, and scratchbuilt a U-boat periscope to add drama. The seawater is finished with high-gloss enamels and Pledge Future floor polish.
