Mitchall says, “The kit is an Academy 1/72 scale B-50. I modeled the plane my father flew after the Korean War during atomic testing in Nevada. The cutaway is created with plenty of detail added to the original model, and the rear compartment is a complete makeover. None of that was in the kit. Markings are modified to match my father’s plane. I have only built one model as a child, and this is the first done during my retirement. Obviously, when you have more time things work out a little better!”
