Jim finished Tamiya’s 1/35 scale M48A3 Patton with Vallejo acrylics and washes and used 23-gauge wire for the antennas. The base is Celluclay on a polyurethane-sealed wood plaque. “This was my first attempt at weathering a model,” Jim says. “I used Tamiya weathering powders and a soft graphite pencil to highlight edges and wheels.”
