Richard writes: “This depicts the Royal Navy attack on the Vichy French fleet at Mers-el-Kébir in July 1940. It is a case of the lovely Trumpeter 1/700 scale Richelieu being thrown together and photographed in a matter of hours.” Airfix’s 1/72 scale Swordfish and 1/1200 scale HMS Hood help produce the forced perspective.
