Martin King

North Stonington, Connecticut

“The Ghostly Warning” is what Martin calls his diorama. He writes: “It’s modeled after a comic book from my youth, G.I. Combat, featuring “The Haunted Tank,” commanded by Jeb Stuart, the great grandson of the Confederate cavalry commander Gen. J.E.B. Stuart. The Ghost of the General would appear to warn his namesake of dangers on the battlefield.” Martin combined two 1/35 scale buildings from MiniArt with a Tamiya M3 Stuart light tank. The horse and figure are a 120mm resin kit from Verlinden. Martin says experimentation led him to use fake snow for the mist around the ghost.
