Sailing out from his usual military modeling, Ray built the vintage 1/471 scale Revell kit SS Hope. He finished the hospital ship with Tamiya and Testors Acryl paints. Ray says, “Due to old, frazzled decals that dissolved when applied, the red cross is hand-painted.”
