Manhattan Beach, California

Dunwich was one of the airplanes used by the ill-fated 1930 Miskatonic University Antarctic Expedition in H. P. Lovecraft's 1931 novella, At the Mountains of Madness. The kit is Heller’s old 1/75 scale Couzinet 70 Arc-en-Ciel.

Turbochargers from Eduard resin boost the plane over the 24,000 foot pass through the Mountains of Madness. I scratchbuilt the cargo doors, intercooler vents, and the snow ski adaptors for the landing gear.

The decals were printed on my home printer.
