Anthony Nowak

Fullerton, California

Anthony modeled his 1/28 scale Fokker D.VIII following the article about it in the November 1989 issue of FineScale Modeler. Inspired by another FSM article, “Painting World War One lozenge camouflage,” he eventually added the pattern. After scanning the pattern into his computer, Anthony redrew the patterns in 1/28 scale and printed the patterns onto Frisket masking film. He cut out the lozenge patterns for each color with a hobby knife and used these masks to airbrush the camouflage.
