Ronald constructed for and presented this model to Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison H. Schmitt, the only scientist to walk on the Moon. He painted a Zvezda 1/144 scale Boeing 737-800 with Tamiya paints under Norwegian Airliner decals. He sealed the markings under Holloway House Quickshine multi-surface floor finish and added Vallejo Desert Dust Wash for some light dirt. Ronald made wheel chocks from the ends of clothespins connected in pairs by lengths of vinyl string. He placed the airliner on a Squadron 1/48 scale tarmac on a BigSky Woodcrafters alder base decorated with a laser-engraved brass plate.
