DAP news as concerns Somalia

I just read in Michael Durant's book that the "Direct Action Penetrator was actually the brain child of...........Cliff Wolcott (Super 6-1).

And, equally as interesting: Durant was asked to speak at a memorial ceremony for Medal of Honor recipient Gary Gordon (Delta). To get ready, he went to the library in Gordon's home town and borrowed a book on people who have received the medal of honor. He said what was most interesting was that he saw on the sign out card in the back that the last time the book was taken out was 20 years ago. By Gary Gordon.

Yeah, "Elvis" was the lead as far as the OT&E for the DAP MH-60L. This was just prior to OP Just Cause down in Panama. Cliff and Durrant were both in the DAP platoon and flew missions in the gulf SCUD hunting. But most of that is in the book.
