You know as crazy as this might sound, as soon as I find a decent Hind I will try it and see what comes out of it

There was a 1/72 Hind with this paint job at the Oklahoma City Nat's in July. It was absolutely flawless!! I kept trying to find a clue that is was a pre-painted kit or a giant decal or something but it wasn't!

Hey Capt,
If I'm not mistaken from what I have seen and read about this paricular Hind, it was painted up by US airmen over either in the Middle East or in the area of Bosnia.
Like I said this was a while back that I seen pics of this bird but I thought it got into our hands one way or other?
Flaps up, Mike

If you would listen to everybody about the inaccuracies, most of the kits on your shelf would not have been built Too Close For Guns, Switching To Finger

It's been done. Seen it in both 1/72nd and 1/48th. The aircraft is Hungarian AF, named 'The Turul Eagle' and flew on the demo circuit a few years ago. No decals available for it as yet......get out your SMALL brushes! :-)
