An Air Force Unit called the "Green Hornets" used the typical aircraft SEA paint scheme on their UH-1P's.  I believe there were a couple early Cobras that had the pain scheme applied also.  It would be a very rare thing for a UH-1D or H to have this paint job.

Clear Left!

Mel has the right answer, AF did use some N models also that had that paint scheme on them. A few Army units did camo some Huey's in non-standard camo scheme's

I've seen three or four different Cobras painted in the SEA scheme as well.  One of em was the first Cobra to fly in Vietnam in August 1967.

I'm building the Italeri 1/72 UH-1F amd in addition to the Green Hornets (20 SOS) scheme, the instructions show a version with the SEA livery from the 58th OMS at Luke AFB in 1979. The main difference is that the 20th SOS version is pretty sterile.

Once I'm done with this I'm planning on doing the Panda 1/35th UH-1N in SEA. I've got a bunch of reference pics, pm me if you'd like to see them.
