I spent a long time sifting through the last 8 or so pages of threads and compiling a list of useful Huey threads.  I hope this will be a first stop for new folks interested in Hueys.  Almost anything you are interested in is coverd in one of these threads.  I have tried to describe them as best as I can to help folks find what they are looking for.   Ray

Note:  The first link is the largest Huey thread on FSM, the second the best Huey build I know of. From that point the newest added links will be at the top.

Great resource.  Thanks for sorting them all out.  To get it pinned, simply send an email to one of the moderators requesting it.  They are great and will get you taken care of right away.

Also, the 1/72 Italeri UH-1D Build thread is not working.  You included the "1/72" in the link.

The link is still not right.  It comes up like this  /forums/796102/ShowPost.aspx%201/72  in my browser address bar.  You need to delete this piece %201/72 from it.  Darn internet code.Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(]

Works now.  I must have been typing as you were fixing.  Thanks for the efforts.

Gino,

I checked each one personally this time.  They all work, at least on my PC!  Thanks for the heads up, GIno!

Grandad,

I thought of that, but it will just eventually get "lost" in the posts there.  I sent the e-mail to get this thread pinned so it will show at the top as well.  Ray

Ray,

That was good of you to put all the links together for us. I wish someone had already thought of doing it when i first joined. I spent hours hunting through the threads.

Grandad,

Good idea, i'll post the link to Rays thread on the first page of the Vietnam Huey thread.

Andy.

While the rest of the crew may be in the same predicament, it's almost always the pilot's job to arrive at the crash site first.

Could someone tell me how to get in touch with the moderator to get this pinned again?  I have tried to figure out who to e-mail and I don't really know who to contact.

   Thanks,

I made it sticky again. If you need to get in touch with one of us, find one of our posts (the annoucements section is a good place to look) and then hit the PM or e-mail button at the bottom.

Cheers,

Is there any way to re-activate the above "links"?

A recent purchase of a Monogram 1/24 Huey ( yeah, that old one Whistling ) prompted me to do a search.

Unfortunately, when I try to use the "hot Links", I end up on an "Activity List " page with a "Browse our Forums" selection rather than the actual thread.

Oh Brother I feel your pain.  I spent hours and hours combing the forums to put that list together and then Finescale totally redid the forums (GRRRRR!).  Anyway, what are your questions?  There are several of us that should be able to help with Huey questions.

Thanks for your reply.

I suspected the forum software was at fault.Super Angry

I will try doing a search of the listed topics in the initial list and then follow up with questions.
