Diorama "Letting of Steam"
Posted by Model Maniac on Monday, March 2, 2009 10:22 PM

Diorama "Letting of Steam" using Master Box's German Motorcyclists - by "Art Instructor":

For this dio, my instruction to "Art Instructor" was that if the kit doesn't provide the tool to do the job (i.e. letting of steam) he should produce one, and that the contact point should have some splash effect. A.I. did so well that I have to censor the last two pictures. For those curious to see the uncensored pictures, try my latest page:

I like it.

My only question would be, is it possible to have 4 men on a motorcycle combination?

I dunno...the way they seem to be "interacting" with each other maybe they have found a way for all of them to fit...Wink [;)]...seriosuly, though---In a vignette this size, I wouldn't try to imply too much...

Thanks for posting this. Tell Art Instructor I appreciate the laugh and nice job on the work as well.

I didn't actually do a toot or anything, but I did explain on how I achieved the water streams by using clear sprue, stretched and formed, and I posted in-progress pics...go back and check out the barrel behind the corpse...

I would upgrade it to an A- from a B+ if he would lose the driver figure and leave the three remaining figs in place...

If I have but one nit pick, it seems like the urine stream is a bit out of scale....it almost seems like the guy is shooting water out of a firehose!!!!

Good job AI. But I'm going to pass on the uncensored pics just the same.  (it is a heck of a large urine stream though)

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

More like Brokeback Modelers.  Why would you want an anatomically correct, male figure in your vignette? Confused [%-)]  Must be compensating for a lack of something or a fascination w/something else.Yuck [yuck]  Taped Shut [XX]

I think a nice companion piece for this would be another rider taking a dump...it, too, could be called, "Letting Off Steam"...
