you can in easy and normal you can do it with a sniper rifle, in advanced, expert, and VS you have to do it with an autoshotgun from behind.  I always overkill it and let off three or four (or 10) shots into her for safe measure.  Except for one time I went around the corner, she was there, thought she was on of those lazy common sitting on the ground and crowned her with 1 shot before even realising it.

Oh, I see what you're saying now- you mean the wire isn't strong enough to support putty at that length away from the wrist? I think you might have to find some stronger wire, that's still thin, don't know how that works- maybe a denser metal?

I think you could get a pretty solid base at the wrists though, the knuckles look rather bulbous, you could probably wrap the wire around itself or something for extra strenth- you should talk with Ark though- he sculps his own figures from scratch with wire- in 1/72!

Just out of curiousity, how much are you being paid for this commission? And does it have a deadline? Certianly none of my business so you of course don't have to answer...just curious...

I'm doing it for cost of materials because hes a friend.  as for deadline there is none.  He was actuially saying he felt a bit bad that he wasnt paying me.  The thing is that there are alot of things in the kits that arent going to be used, figures and accessories and such, as well as the miliput that I dont use, which is good enough payment for me.

Im not sure what to do about it

The church and the brace for the hunter to attach to.

I frayed the bottom of the legs of his pants, I think it worked out well.

Louis, with base coats

For those who cant tell the hunter's torso is that from the Tamiya modern US infantry set, with the one infantryman thats running looking upward, the legs arefrom that masterbox kit, the guy laying on the ground prone reaching up.  What you also cant see is that I bent his legs so far after boiling them to get them into poisition they almost broke off, I had to put some super glue in there and get some sculpting putty over the gap quickly so it didnt break.

Wont seem like much of an update, but this took alot of work.

Hunter need a hand then hes ready for paint.  Louis is being panted, just need to do a bit of putty on one elbow then I can paint his skin.  For louis I molded a new medkit, I put a pistol holder on his leg and sculpted straps, sculpted straps for the medpack too.   From my shots so far, the commissionee is happy

LE-UPDATE

ok, so louis is finished< I found out is REALLY HARD to do african americans without making them look like this, with one skin tone and not much shading, its REALLY HARD to do it...  I hope all the sculpting and such turned out well

for the hunter I figured that a blue hoodey was to boring, fine in game when hes just a blurr, but for a static thing, I figured not.  Since Left 4 Dead takes place in pennsylvania, starting with 'No Mercy' in Philadelphia, and ending on deathtoll out past Pittsburgh I decided to take a bit of creative innitative and to paint a Philadelphia Flyers logo on the hoodey.  It isnt finished, need a bit of deatiling on the logo.

If case your wondering about the silver stripes, there suposto be duckt tape, I used masking tape and super glued it on

With the grafiti, IMO the blood should be smeared over the top, and it should be smaller, and messier. But that sjust my opinion, otherwise looks awesome so far, cant wait to see it finished.

HOLY MOTHER OF MERCY! I have always thought about making a zombie diorama, possibly nazi zombies (like the game) but I also love to play left 4 Dead. I almost had a heart attack when I saw that you were making this dio, can't wait to see the finished project.

By the way, looked up that Bible verse-very clever. Did you choose that? Or was it something in game?

(don't have an Xbox, so I don't know the game)

It was from the game, it is scrawled on the wall of a sewer safe room in a small church centered town located somewhere between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh

I figured it would fit well scrawled on a church wall, there were others that could fit, but they were a bit sacrilegious like 'god is dead' and I didn't want to offend anyone.

Exodus 9:15 reads, and i quote, "For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with a plague that would have wiped you off of the earth."

Seems to fit the game, huh?

Keep up the good work.
